MY CALIPER (WHOOPS - MY CALIBER)

It’s “Ecks-caliber,” not to be redone with King Arthur’s famous sword, Excalibur: there are a lot of myths surrounding the subject of King Arthur and his sword Excalibur; however unique those myths may be, they won’t be covered on this site (or uncovered, depending on how you view it) – so sorry for the die-hard Camelot fans. I’ve heard of another sword, namely the “Word of God” (if you don’t believe me, just locate scrip number 4:12 within ‘Hebrews’ in our copies of God's Book, known today as the Holy Bible, or online). My full name is C. T. Eck and this site, if you haven’t scanned it too much by now, is titled Eck’s Port (when Thomas Jefferson, third President of the U. S., signed his name Th Jefferson, it led me to try mine as Ch Eck, that spells "check" in combination, and would have it symbolically becoming something like a reverted around but converted about Nike brand swoosh). One of my passions is document design (with a degree in Professional / Technical Writing) which is obviously incorporated into Eck’s Port, even though this endeavor is on the creative outlet side rather than the technical (but it did take a bit of especial work to position it online - how professional you find it for you can be indeed up to you yourselves). Meanwhile and as I greet you every several page with each a fitting letter, can you dream up any descriptive word creations, either in English or your native tongue?

All three poems found this page are each collectively from the ‘Instant Classic Poems’ Category in the newer Book, respectively titled “Mine Affinity” and “Battle Day” and “Ty-Ping.” Each of these three poems are some of this Author’s best classics, right at this instant so to speak, and this Author hopes much to win more awards for his poeting contributions, where the middle of “Ty-Ping” (some in some -bold-) may be pieces of his most enduring or at the least, most endearing, to date.

My affinity runs long

Know the head is not only where I was aiming

You are supposed to figure out riddles

Knowing the differences are worth the claiming

The crows know we are eating to survive and revive

Then the spider also counts what lines she hears

Could you cancel what you can spell out for what not a lot

The real really calls for perfect love that casts to have no fear

It is no longer a test

When you are bettered by the best

And it does not feel good

To be less than great

Do not forget it is never over

Until someone else sings

The beginning of the end

Sometimes pretends like it is not happening

We do not have to like the hard rind

For it is the pits we toss to the going wind

Wherever you find you are far behind

It is in the heightened catch-up we become to begin a blend

Become another’s considerate kind

Keep it capably knowledgeable

Toss a match at the match you made

Work with knowledge dealt a make-up reliably

It is ever a losing battle
